Homeowners in California who have a single-family residence or a lot zoned for residential use may be eligible to build an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) under AB 976 and SB9. Local ordinances and zoning regulations will dictate specific requirements, but state law encourages the construction of ADUs to help address housing needs.
In some cases, yes. The need to upgrade your main electrical panel depends on the current capacity of your system and the energy requirements of your ADU. During the design phase, we’ll assess your electrical system and determine whether an upgrade is necessary.
It depends on the condition and capacity of your existing sewer line. We’ll inspect your system to determine if it can handle the additional load from an ADU. If not, an upgrade may be required to ensure everything runs smoothly.
In most cases, the existing water line is sufficient. However, if your water pressure or supply is insufficient for both your main home and the ADU, an upgrade may be recommended to ensure consistent water flow.
If gas is not available, there are alternative options such as electric appliances and electric water heaters. Many ADUs are designed to function entirely on electricity, allowing for energy-efficient, modern living without the need for gas.
Yes, we require a $1,000 deposit with a signed commitment to secure your ADU order and start the process. Nothing else is due until we submit permit drawings to the local city/county and your ADU kit ships to your project site.
The construction timeline can vary depending on factors like design complexity, permitting, and site conditions. However, on average, it takes between 2-4 months complete an ADU project from start to finish, including design, permitting, and construction. The good news is that we only need 30-60 days from receiving permit approval to finish your ADU! We aim to make the process as efficient as possible!
Throughout the construction process, you will have a dedicated project manager assigned as your primary point of contact. They will keep you informed about the progress, address any questions or concerns, and ensure the project stays on track from start to finish.

We offer two guarantees: Price Guarantee: The price we quote will never increase—not by a single penny. The only exceptions are unforeseen circumstances such as unknown utilities discovered during excavation or environmental or biological hazards found in or beneath the soil that were not previously known.

Timeframe Guarantee: If we do not complete the project within the specified timeframe, we will pay you $500 for every day we go beyond the agreed-upon schedule. This ensures we stay committed to timely project delivery.

Our SIP panels come in a variety of configurations depending on the specific project needs. The two most common types are:

1. Fire-resistant wood sheathing with a high R-value rigid foam core.

They also have excellent sound-dampening properties, ensuring a quiet interior space, and their high R-value ratings contribute to lower energy costs by providing superior insulation.

Yes, they can. All of our SIP panels come with a complete structural calculation package and evaluation report for each individual assembly component. This ensures that our panels meet the strict standards required for high seismic zones, giving you peace of mind that your structure is built with the highest quality, safety-tested materials.
